13927041310_1e30975251_kClimate Interactive’s World Energy Exercise enables participants to take on the role of leaders from key economic and energy sectors and negotiate a climate and energy deal. Later this month, participants at the National Council for Science and the Environment’s (NCSE) 15th National Conference and Global Forum on Science Policy and the Environment:_ Energy and Climate Change_ will have an opportunity to design their own science-based international climate policy agreements.

The conference engages scientists, environmental mangers, and leaders in policy, governance, business, conservation, and education to work across the traditional boundaries and advance solutions to climate change. Information on conference topics and speakers can be found at www.EnergyandClimateChange.org.

Heading to the conference? Come to the World Energy session, and ask yourself, “What would I do if I could design and implement a set of policies to create a low-carbon global economy?” No prior experience is necessary, but come ready to make decisions that will affect generations to come!

This event will be led by Climate Interactive’s Ellie Johnston and Professor Juliette Rooney-Varga of the UMass Lowell Climate Change Initiative and is made possible through support from the National Science Foundation.
