New En-ROADS features show disease, nutrition, and drought challenges from climate change

We’re excited to share an update to the En-ROADS Simulator that adds three powerful visualizations to help you understand and communicate critical health impacts caused by climate change.

Disease exposure risk graph shows how warming expands the reach of malaria and dengue.

Crop nutrient change graph reveals how rising CO₂ concentration reduces iron, zinc, and protein content in key food staples.

Global drought likelihood map from Probable Futures illustrates how temperature rise affects the probability of prolonged droughts across regions.

These additions make En-ROADS an even more powerful tool for exploring both the challenges we face and how swift climate action can make a difference in the coming decades. The new features help answer crucial questions like:

• How does limiting warming to below 2°C affect global exposure to mosquito-borne diseases?
• What climate solutions can preserve the nutritional value of our food supply?
• How can we reduce drought likelihood in different regions?
