System Dynamics Modeler

Kaveh is a System Dynamics Modeler at Climate Interactive. He has been in the system dynamics field since 2010, and has applied the method to areas such as climate change, energy transition, urban health and sustainability, and housing economics.

Before Climate Interactive, he was a senior researcher and consultant at DNV, where he was involved in modeling and analysis for the Energy Transition Outlook suite of reports. He has also provided advisory services around long-term Net Zero planning for the UK’s national and regional energy networks.

Kaveh holds a PhD in Housing Economics and System Dynamics from University College London (UK), an MBA from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), and a joint master’s degree in System Dynamics from the European Master in System Dynamics (EMSD) program (Norway, Italy, and The Netherlands).

Kaveh is currently based in London, UK, but has worked and studied around the world and has a passion for learning new languages. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, learning to play the guitar, playing chess, and watching an inordinate amount of stand-up comedy, among other things.
