Ellie leads Climate Interactive’s climate and energy modeling and engagement efforts. She has built up Climate Interactive’s work to extend to over a million people—from top journalists and leading decision-makers to educators and students worldwide. Through the design of the En-ROADS and C-ROADS simulation models and the array of experiences that are used with these tools, Ellie has pioneered approaches to bridging the gap between science and policy.
Ellie has spoken at the United Nations, the White House, the African Union, and many universities. Her work has been cited in major outlets including The New York Times, Associated Press, and Washington Post.
Her prior experience includes leadership to advance youth participation in the United Nations around climate change and sustainable development, as well as roles as an encyclopedia editor, field biologist, and community organizer.
